A lovely tea-house and cafe awaits in quaint and pleasant Downtown Whitby.

Jesse and I set out to try something new and we were pleasantly surprised by the gentle Cafe with a warm and cozy feeling.  Patrons came and left with a smile on their face and with a sense of familiarity oozing off them as obvious regulars.

Although not necessarily my thing, Marito’s Coffee and Things boasts a High Tea Service on Tuesday to Sunday at 10:30, 12:30 and 3pm. For more information and reservations, contact them on their Instagram:

Overall, we enjoyed the experience but found the menu restrictive, and were slightly dissaponted there weren’t more options like crossaints,  pastries, or bagels. We both had hot chocolate, and it was good but not stellar.

Easily summarized as a positive and warm experience.
